A lonely boat floats serenely at the bank of a lake; a lake reflecting the colorful evening horizon. A multitude of trees are shown shedding their brown leaves to signal a changing season. A winding road, slightly layered with wind scattered leaves, wanders invitingly next to an unexplored forest.  The slightly traveled road, with carriage wheels engraved in the moist soil, disappears upwards to the left, beyond the trees and onward to the multi-colored horizon which is gifted by the warm setting sun.

Painting signed by A. McCann, 1921. This is an oil painting on linen/canvas. Painting comes with gorgeous framing and a working light fixture for display. Painting itself is on canvas/linen and is 34″x 22″. Frame extends outward about an additional 3 inches and is in excellent shape. Painting is unmarked on the reverse side but seems to reveal an age consistent with an item over 100 years old. We really believe more people need to see and appreciate the quality of this wonderful piece.
