In the opening match of the evening Michael Smith recorded his second straight win, beating Daryl Gurney 7-4.
PDC World Champion Rob Cross didn’t have a good evening though as he was destroyed by Simon Whitlock 7-1.
That means Cross has lost his first two matches.
