Winter time at the Portland Head Lighthouse Cape Elizabeth, ME. The official temperature when this shot was taken was -9F. The amount of mist pouring off the water is unbelievable. On the drive down, the sea smoke can be seen from miles away, as columns drift probably 80 ft. in the air around Portland. After arriving at Fort Williams Park, home of Portland Head Lighthouse, amazing large breakers were seen rolling in from the recent storm, with mist coming in on top.
